Down From The Calico Tree by Sarah Lapp. Media: Acrylic.

Down From The Calico Tree. This happy contemporary abstract takes it’s title from a line in the classic Edward Lear poem Calico Pie. It’s limited color palette and geometric forms lend a minimalist feel to it, yet it still has great energy. This piece is richly textured and has lots of depth. Canvas is deep gallery wrapped and the sides are painted making framing not necessary. It is wired, protected by varnish and all materials are archival making it a piece that will last.
