This is a painting realized from a photo taken in Napa Valley. I chose the blue analogous split complementary palette to push forward the idea of a quiet awakening at a Napa vineyard: the sprinkled chirping of birds, the glistening of morning dew on the vines, the early fog rising as the sun ascends, the feeling of anticipation for the day ahead.
