There is a maple tree that I pass in the Autumn with such an extraordinary array of changing colors…that it stops me in my tracks. Like a seamless rainbow, the greens transition into lime then gold then orange then pink then scarlet…leaving me breathless. This painting is meant to honor the gift of that experience.
