Forest I and II were painted as a diptych and the two paintings complement each other as trees in a forest do. My paintings develop randomly as I see beauty and balance unfold in interesting ways. When the perfect balance of color and shape, according to my eyes, has been reached…it is finished. Then the title comes to me as should your own feeling about this work…from an impression in the back of the mind.
