Crossing Paths. Crossing Paths was inspired by early spring. New growth pushes upward, beginning to cover winter’s gray. As an artist and naturalist, I frequently ask myself, ‚ÄúHow can I present my observations through the context of my human experience?‚Äù As in the natural world, the ebb and flow of the work moves in the moment, not as an effort to recreate a vision, but as individual marks that later become a story I recognize and build upon. Each action nudges the next as I work to integrate place, moment, and wonder. This painting is unstretched and will ship in a tube. Its full size, unstretched, is 46″ x 66″ leaving ample canvas on each side to stretch to its 40″ x 60″ image as shown.
