Intriguing Anchorage by Mark Hunter. Media: Oil on Linen.
I’m a sailor as well as an artist, and many of my paintings are inspired by my sailing trips. “An Intriguing Anchorage”, 24×36, oil on linen, was inspired by the Eastern Shore of Maryland. In this painting I attempted to capture the spirit of Granary Creek, a secluded anchorage off the East Wye River and a favorite overnight anchorage of mine.
