This mixed media painting was created with a combination of acrylic paint, sumi e ink, char Cole, pastel, graphite and watercolor on acid free watercolor paper. The dynamic and lyrical bold black brush strokes are painted with a Chinese haiki brush. Layers of atmospheric washes contrast with the thunderous black strokes creating a symphony of majesty and the miraculous.
