This work is a fun piece that was inspired after a friends wedding, and was created for a solo show I had at a boutique hotel in NYC. I painted a wood panel, and gilded the surface with metallic gold color leaf. I silk screened a flower pattern on the gilded surface, and painted in the shadows. The imagery was inspired by topiary flower arrangements, and has a regal, yet urban feel to it.
