Dead Fall by Scott Armstrong. Media: Wood.

Years after a forest fire, after the trees have died, lost all their limbs, and begun to fall, they form random piles of dead fall. These are both beautiful and impenetrable. My challenge to myself was to capture some of that natural process in a less than natural, functional, form. It is made of Walnut and Poplar solids, Figured Cherry, Walnut, Sapele, Makore, quartered Ash veneers & glass.
